What is (if there is) the best hair inhibitor for men.?

I have learned how to shave most of it (with electronic or razor ) but how can I slow or stop hair growth. Is there a cream,gel,or something I can buy to stop or at least slow hair growth down. If I was to stay smooth I would have to shave my face every day,arms & legs every other day and chest and mid-body every 2 to 3 days. That is costing me a lot in razors and shaving creams. PLEASE HELP!
