Any fitness advice for me and my new diet/exercise regimen? and a few questions...?

Sounds like you are really making an effort. Just remember, any change should be for the rest of your life. Try to find a happy medium, and keep it up, get into the habit of exercise. If you go at it hard for a short time to reach a short term goal, you will eventually fall back to old habits. Try working with weights to gain a little muscle m. A small amount will burn more calories even whilst resting. Muscle needs more calories just to maintain it. Over 12months a 1lb of muscle tissue will burn about 5lbs of fat whilst resting. Increase your protein intake, this will make a big difference. Researchers in America found that when people had 40% of daily calories from protein they lost significantly more body fat than those following other diets. It also stops you feeling huger for longer. Eat eggs for breakfast, its been shown that people who eat eggs for breakfast will consume fewer calories throughout the day.
