At the Sydney International. This is amazing. I'm an Aussie so Guccione has all my support, but no way did I think he could achieve this. Yesterday he defeated Lleyton Hewitt in straight sets. Despite his low ranking, Guccione has been my favourite player since I saw him in the Adelaide International final last year, where, despite losing to Novak Djokovic, put up a good fight, losing 6-3, 6-7(6), 6-4. He also beat the likes of Gasquet on the way to that final. He now faces Radek Stepanek in the semis. Now, I know people from overseas may not know much about Chris, but if you do, feel free to discuss your thoughts on this man's career so far and his bright future.
