How to short rotor of slip ring motor for to be used with a vfd?
I have slip-ring motor in the WMI Crane(for hoisting application) .For a better speed control I am installing vfd for LT,CT and Hoisting.I have removed resistance boxes .But tell me how to short the rotor,Should I remove the slip-ring and then short the rotor,what is the best method?
