Atheists: What's your opinion on nihilism?

It's very misunderstood - I see atheists on here arguing all the time that life is without objective meaning, purpose, and intrinsic value (save for that which we afford it, that is, subjective meaning, purpose and value) and then turn around and say "I'm not a nihilist!".
