Anyone know of the show where an alien family came to live on Earth? The show's title is the girl's name.

I'm pretty sure it was made during the late 80s or early 90s and was palyed on local American television for quite some time. I attempted to research myself to find out, but was unable to find it. The family was fleeing something life-threatening from their own planet; they look exactly like humans; had trouble adjusting to life without using their "powers"; the girl could play the violin; the family consisted of a man, woman, girl, boy; had friends in neighborhood & in school; fit in fairly well. That's it---all I can remember. Please, I would appreciate serious answers...if any former fan/ other person who has some kind of guess can help, please do. NOT LOOKING FOR DUMB ANSWERS LIKE: X-Files, Andromeda, Star Trek, Star Wars, etc, etc, etc, etc, etc.......You get the point. Thanks again in advance.
