I need help picking a hair color.?

I REALLY want to dye my hair. & i was going to dye it purple & my friends said that i should. but im thinking i want a sort of purplish red like hers came out >>>http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=szcOh2t2q6M but there are no stores by me that sell that hair dye. can you help me pick a different alternative (for a purple -red hair color) i want it to look purple no matter what but not an over whelming purple. please help :/
