Looking for some action/adventure Animes?

I'm just finishing up the Full Metal Alchemist series and I've loved it so far and now I'm looking for some more action / adventure anime series. Length of the series is not a problem for me but I want to make sure it's action packed and adventurous. Naruto seems cool but i've never gotten watched it. I've been thinking Inuyasha, Hunter x Hunter, Code Ge (but its mecha-ish I'd prefer more fantasy esque)? what are some reccomendations? a little explantion would greatly help as well.
