Is becoming a nurse then becoming a physician istant a good path?

I'm currently 21 and taking the Registered Practical Nursing program/LVN/LPN course. Upon completing this course I'm hoping to get accepted into the branching course via bachelor science degree program which will make me a Registered Nurse with a bachelor degree in nursing. After working for 2 years I can then apply for my masters to become a Physician istant. Good path or not. The only thing holding me back is the age I'll be when completion of this. I'm 21 now and I'll be like 29 at the end of it.
