A few questions about bearded dragon upkeep?

hi there, i like this site for info. a href="http://www.beautifuldragons.503xtreme.com/home.html." rel="nofollow"http://www.beautifuldragons.503xtreme.co…/a i i do have a water dish in my tank but it is well ventilated. i still give them a bath though, just because they don't go in the water dish very much. i just use a tote lid and let them run around in the room. as for bedding a baby should be on paper towel or newspaper (wet newspaper can stain them and the tank with the newsprint, just fyi). when my babies were over 6" i put them on clean, washed playsand. you can also look into tiles for them as well, easier cleanup. i haven't seen the mercury vapor bulbs in my petstore yet, but it is supposed to help bring out more colors in the dragon, not sure if it's uvb or not. you do need the spotlight, basking light to make a hot area for them 95 ish a little warmer for babies. but the do still need the uvb, set up around 6" away from them. i have built up areas to get them closer to the lights and make the basking site warm enough. wattage depends on tank size and how far away they are from it. hope i helped a little, that site helped me alot.
